Girthquake is Anthem’s dedicated bear dance. It’s not weekly — it’s a rotating headline event that fills the room for a full big-production night. Girthquake 2.0 lands Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 8 PM to close. DJ Scott Robert takes the booth — heavy, warm, room-shaking house that reads the bear crowd’s specific tastes (less circuit-plastic, more physical bass, more melodic drops). Free entry.

Bear Jamboree — the annual anchor weekend
Bear Jamboree is Orlando’s annual bear weekend — held every June, based at the Crowne Plaza Orlando – Lake Buena Vista, drawing thousands of bears from across the country. The 2026 edition ran June 4–8. Anthem is on the downtown map for after-hours during Jamboree weekend — the resort programming ends at a certain hour, and the crowd migrates downtown for the late-late.

Bear-friendly nights at Anthem year-round
Anthem is a full LGBTQ+ nightclub, and the bear community is a regular part of the crowd every night. Some nights read more bear-friendly than others:
- Best Happy Hour, M–F 3–7 PM. The room is quiet enough to actually talk. A staple pre-game.
- Harmony Saturdays. The big-room Saturday format. Bears are a visible portion of the crowd.
- Renaissance Sundays. Sunday Funday from 2 PM. Chill, mixed, and the daytime energy the bear crowd tends to bring.
- Any of Anthem’s headline circuit-adjacent nights — HYDRO WKND, PRIME, holiday parties — pull a significant bear turnout when the DJ leans warm.

Getting to Anthem
Anthem is at 100 N Orange Ave, corner of Orange and Central. Central Boulevard Garage and SunTrust Center Garage are the closest paid parking. Street parking on Central is free after 6 PM. Rideshare drops directly at the Orange Ave curb.
