The 2026 World Cup Final at a glance
The 2026 tournament, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, ends the way every World Cup should — with a single match on a Sunday afternoon. The Final kicks off at 3 PM ET on Sunday, July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It’s the culmination of 104 matches across 48 teams — the largest World Cup in the tournament’s history — and it’s happening on our side of the Atlantic for the first time since 1994.
The night before, on Saturday July 18, the third-place match plays for bronze — often the most entertaining game of the whole tournament, because both sides play to win with no pressure. Anthem is running that one too, kickoff around 5 PM local.

Downtown has a few options for big-match viewing. Sports bars along Orange Ave and Church Street handle overflow crowds well. What’s different at Anthem is the mix: this is not a sports bar with a rainbow flag out front — it’s a full LGBTQ+ nightclub that happens to take the World Cup seriously because so many of our regulars grew up on it.
