Things to Do in Downtown Orlando This June 2026

June 2026 is Orlando’s most layered month. Pride Month draws the LGBTQ+ community from across the country for Gay Days, the Pride Cup, Girls in Wonderland, and the bar crawls that fill downtown on Saturday nights. It also carries the weight of June 12 — the 10-year mark of the Pulse nightclub shooting. Joy and remembrance share the same calendar this month. Both deserve their space. Here is what is happening downtown and how to move through it all.

Gay Days Orlando — June 4–7

Gay Days is one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the world, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to Orlando each year. The signature event is Red Shirt Saturday at Magic Kingdom, where guests wear red in a visible, joyful show of community. Beyond the parks, the week brings pool parties, hotel takeovers, and nightlife events across the city — with downtown as the hub for off-park evenings. Whether you are coming for the parks, the parties, or both, Gay Days sets the tone for the entire month.

The Pride Cup — First Weekend of June

The Pride Cup is Orlando’s LGBTQ+ multi-sport tournament, held over the first weekend of June. Events include basketball, soccer, volleyball, pickleball, cornhole, and more — with divisions for competitive and recreational players alike. Partners and spectators are welcome throughout, and the tournament has a social atmosphere that extends well beyond the courts. If you are arriving in Orlando for Gay Days weekend, the Pride Cup runs alongside it, giving athletes and their crews a full itinerary from Friday through Sunday.

Pulse Remembrance — June 12 (10 Years)

June 12, 2026 marks ten years since the Pulse nightclub shooting. The community gathers to honor the 49 lives taken, the survivors, and the families. The official ceremony is hosted by Pulse Orlando. This is a remembrance, not a celebration — please attend with care, listen, and follow community leadership. For the full guide on attending, ways to support, and how Orlando holds this day, see Pulse Remembrance 2026 — Honoring 10 Years.

Girls in Wonderland — June (Early to Mid)

Girls in Wonderland is the country’s premier music and lifestyle festival for queer women, held each June in Orlando. The multi-day event includes daily concerts, pool parties, comedy showcases, and brunches, with programming that is explicitly trans-inclusive. The host hotel serves as the main venue, and downtown Orlando is a 20-minute rideshare away — close enough to extend the night after Saturday concerts wrap. If you are attending with a group, building in a downtown evening is straightforward from where the event is based.

Juneteenth — June 19

Juneteenth is a federal holiday marking June 19, 1865 — the day enslaved Black Texans learned of their freedom, more than two months after the Emancipation Proclamation. Orlando observes it with community festivals, Black-owned business marketplaces, music, and education programs. Events are family-friendly and centered on Black voices and Black-led organizations. If you are attending, show up to support and listen rather than lead. Downtown Orlando has its own Juneteenth programming worth noting on the calendar.

Pride Bar Crawl Orlando — June 20

The Pride Bar Crawl runs Saturday afternoon into Saturday night through downtown Orlando, hitting participating bars along the corridor with a single wristband. Drink specials are included at each stop, the dress code is costume-friendly, and Pride looks are very much encouraged. The crawl builds energy as the night goes on — earlier stops feel like a warm-up; later stops are the party. It is one of the more efficient ways to cover the downtown bar scene in a single evening and land somewhere worth staying.

Make a Saturday Night of It

Several of June’s biggest events tie directly to Saturday nights. Gay Days Red Shirt Saturday runs June 6. Girls in Wonderland Saturday concerts pull energy mid-month. The Pride Bar Crawl on June 20 is built for a full Saturday arc. All of them converge on downtown at some point in the night, and Anthem is the natural place to land when the crawl or the concert or the park day finally winds down.

Anthem Orlando is downtown’s upscale LGBT nightclub, with a full bar, drag performances, and signature Saturday programming on the North Orange Avenue corridor. The dress code is elevated — no athletic wear or flip-flops — and weekend hours typically run 10pm to 2am. Plan your Pride Month night at Anthem.
