Orlando’s LGBTQ+ holiday season 2026 runs from Thanksgiving weekend through New Year’s Day. This is the full downtown guide — every night Anthem is programming, plus honest mentions of what’s happening elsewhere in the queer + queer-friendly Orlando scene. If you’re looking for gay holiday parties in Orlando, Christmas events downtown, or where to spend New Year’s Eve in a room where you feel at home, here’s the whole season.

Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 26–29, 2026)

  • Wed Nov 25 — Friendsgiving Eve at Anthem: The pre-Thanksgiving landing pad — everyone home for the holidays hits the same room
  • Sun Nov 29 — Post-Thanksgiving ABS: Drag brunch with a holiday-carb theme (see the ABS page)

Early December (Dec 3–13, 2026)

  • Sat Dec 5 — HYDRO Warmup: Circuit night as the holiday season heats up
  • Sat Dec 12 — Jingle Ball at Anthem: The main-event queer holiday party. See our Jingle Ball page

Mid-late December (Dec 14–24, 2026)

  • Sat Dec 19 — HYDRO WKND with DJ Edwood + KIKILAND: Puerto Rico’s Hydro Caribbean resident brings the year’s final circuit night, paired with the dry late-night at Encima. See our HYDRO + KIKILAND page
  • Wed Dec 24 — Christmas Eve at Anthem: Extended lounge programming for the folks not doing family dinner

Christmas week (Dec 25–30, 2026)

  • Fri Dec 26 — Anthem After Christmas: The traditional refugee night for anyone who needed to escape the family. Full main-floor programming.
  • Sat Dec 27 — NYE Warmup Weekend: Circuit night leading into NYE prep

New Year’s Eve + Day (Dec 31, 2026 – Jan 1, 2027)

  • Thu Dec 31 — BLACKOUT NYE at Anthem: Our branded New Year’s Eve. Midnight countdown, VIP tiers, bottle service, dress code. See our BLACKOUT NYE page
  • Fri Jan 1 — NYD Recovery Brunch: Recover where you rang it in. See our NYD Brunch page

Elsewhere in Orlando’s LGBTQ+ holiday scene

Anthem isn’t the only queer-friendly holiday programming in town. Honest picks:

  • Come Out Give Back events — the Come Out With Pride organization’s winter fundraising programming
  • Zebra Youth annual holiday drive — worth supporting even if you can’t attend
  • Hamburger Mary’s holiday drag shows — long-running Church Street institution
  • Savoy Orlando holiday cabaret — theatrical, storytelling-forward, indie
  • Southern Nights and adjacent bars — traditional Orlando gay-bar holiday programming

You can and should stack these across December. Nobody’s mad if you hit three venues in a night.

Planning tips

  • Book early for group bookings. December fills up. If you want a section for a corporate holiday party or a friends-group birthday-slash-Christmas landing, email us in October.
  • NYE sells first. BLACKOUT NYE ticket tiers rise fast — early bird drops November 20.
  • Hotels matter. Downtown Orlando hotels run at high occupancy the last week of December. Book by early November if you’re coming in from out of town.
  • Weather: Orlando December runs 55–75°F, cool by our standards but warm by most others. Bring a light layer for the walk between venues.

See you across the season. Full calendar on the events page.
