The concept
New Year’s Day is the hardest day of the year to find a real brunch. Most kitchens are closed. Most bars are hungover. Anthem opens for one reason: to be the room you rang in the year in, and to give you a place to reset the year with actual food and actual mimosas and actual people.
Format is our regular ABS drag brunch — bottomless mimosas, brunch service, drag show — with the volume dialed down. Chill-forward set list. Softer lighting. Coffee available at every table. Nothing shouted at you before 1 PM.
Who’s on
Our regular ABS cast (Anita Bettername, April Fresh, Kitana Gemini) rotates through — with a New Year’s-themed twist for the day. Numbers skew to torch songs, warm covers, and the kind of drag that lets you sit down and actually watch.
