Karaoke in Downtown Orlando — Weekly Nights at Anthem Orlando

Downtown Orlando’s LGBTQ+ karaoke calendar runs through Anthem Orlando, 100 N Orange Ave. Karaoke Night with Ken T. takes over most Tuesdays. On Sunday afternoons, Group Sing-A-Long LIVE — Sunday Funday Karaoke transforms the room into a full-crowd choir. Both are free. Both use the actual venue’s sound system — not a corner-of-a-bar setup — which means when you nail the ballad, you feel like a professional.

This is the guide to karaoke in downtown Orlando — when to show up, what to expect, and why Anthem’s karaoke nights read different from every other karaoke bar in the city.

Tuesday · Karaoke Night with Ken T.

Ken T. runs karaoke at Anthem on most Tuesdays — 8 PM start, free entry, real karaoke book, no cover to sign up. It’s sponsored programming, in partnership with AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and it runs weekly with a rotating cast of regulars and first-timers.

  • Where: Anthem Orlando, 100 N Orange Ave
  • When: Most Tuesdays, 8 PM (check the calendar — some Tuesdays alternate with Drag Bingo)

  • Sign-up: Slip system at the KJ booth — put your name in when you arrive
  • Song book: Full library — pop, R&B, country, Latin, showtunes, everything

What sets Tuesday karaoke at Anthem apart from the average downtown bar karaoke night: the sound system. When you get on stage at Anthem, you have the same rig the DJ has on a Friday night. The vocal comes through crisp. The reverb is on. The crowd hears you. That changes the performance — people give it more than they would at a dive.

Sunday · Group Sing-A-Long LIVE — Sunday Funday Karaoke

Sundays get a different flavor: Group Sing-A-Long LIVE is Anthem’s Sunday Funday karaoke — 2 PM start, group format, the crowd sings the choruses. It’s less about individual performances and more about the whole room turning into a musical for an afternoon. Think of it as the karaoke equivalent of a Renaissance Sundays energy.

Free entry, 21+, Happy Hour rolls through, and the room stays loud through the afternoon.

Karaoke etiquette (Anthem edition)

  • Put your slip in early. The rotation fills fast on busy nights.
  • Applaud the singer. Even the ones who missed the key change. Especially those.
  • Tip the KJ. Ken T. runs the whole show — sound, rotation, song search. Cash or Venmo, mid-set is fine.
  • Duets are welcome. Bring a partner or find one at the bar.
  • Try one song outside your genre. The crowd rewards range.

Who’s usually in the room

Tuesday karaoke at Anthem pulls: downtown workers looking for a low-lift weeknight, birthday groups (a lot of them), first-time performers, regulars with a signature song, drag performers off-duty, and the usual LGBTQ+ crowd that fills Anthem the rest of the week. It’s a good mix — energetic without being rowdy, supportive without being twee.

Sunday Sing-A-Long attracts a chiller Sunday Funday crowd — brunch-adjacent, matinée-vibe, more social singing than solo showcases.

Karaoke as a birthday plan

Anthem’s Tuesday karaoke is one of the top birthday-plan choices in downtown Orlando. Free entry, real stage, group photo opportunity, and Anthem’s team can set up a small reserved area for parties of 8+. Email info@anthemorlando.com a few days ahead if you want to lock a table.

Where else to sing downtown

Downtown Orlando has a rotating karaoke map — a few dive bars run late-night karaoke on off nights, and Church Street corridor has one dedicated karaoke lounge that runs weekends. Anthem is the LGBTQ+ address, the biggest sound, and the most consistent weekly schedule. For a full picture of downtown nightlife programming, see our Summer 2026 in Downtown Orlando hub.

Pick your Tuesday, or your Sunday

Tuesday for solo performances and the individual rotation. Sunday for group energy and a Sunday Funday soundtrack. Either way, the mic is on, the sound is right, and the room wants you to sing. Free entry, 21+, downtown Orlando’s LGBTQ+ karaoke home base.
