A Note From Our Founders
When we dreamed up Anthem, we weren’t just thinking about opening a nightclub; we were thinking about bringing our community home.
Like so many in our community, we’ve searched for spaces that made us feel safe, seen, and celebrated. We’ve danced in clubs that welcomed us for a night, but not always for who we are. We’ve watched as spaces for queer joy disappeared one by one, especially here in Central Florida. And we knew it was time to change that.
Anthem is our love letter to the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a place where self-expression isn’t just allowed, it’s expected. Where chosen family isn’t just welcomed – it’s built day by day, night by night, moment by moment. Where the beat of the music is powered by purpose, and every laugh, every hug, every second of joy adds to the rhythm of something bigger.
We built this for you. For the dreamers, the dancers, the divas, and the beautifully defiant. For the everyday heroes who show up as their full selves, even when the world makes it hard. And for everyone who’s ever needed a place to feel like they finally belong.

Anthem was born from a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves a space where they can feel fully themselves; celebrated, safe, and surrounded by love. More than just a bar or a nightclub, Anthem is a vibrant hub of connection, joy, and unapologetic pride. Located in the heart of downtown Orlando, we exist to uplift the LGBTQ+ community while welcoming allies and neighbors to stand with us, dance beside us, and grow with us.

At the core of Anthem is a deep commitment to community. We are here to serve, reflect, and elevate the LGBTQ+ community of Central Florida while also building bridges with the greater Orlando area. We don’t believe in creating silos; we believe in celebration without separation.

Whether we’re hosting fundraisers for LGBTQ+ youth programs, marching in local Pride events, or offering our space for community meetings and wellness workshops, we are always focused on how we can give back.
