On July 18, 2025, Orlando’s drag community erupted in celebration. Ginger Minj \u2014 born and raised in Central Florida, mentored by Orlando legends, and beloved by fans across the city \u2014 was crowned the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars<\/em> Season 10. It was a moment years in the making, and nobody deserved it more.<\/p>\n

A Historic Victory<\/h2>\n

Ginger Minj’s All Stars 10 win wasn’t just another crown \u2014 it was a record-breaking, history-making moment for the entire Drag Race franchise. She became the first contestant ever to win the franchise on her fourth attempt<\/strong>, having previously competed on Season 7, All Stars 2, and All Stars 6. Her perseverance and growth across a decade of competition made her victory one of the most emotionally satisfying in Drag Race herstory.<\/p>\n

The win also made Ginger the first Latina winner of All Stars<\/strong> and the first queen of Puerto Rican descent to win in the U.S. franchise. Along with her crown, scepter, and coveted spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame, Ginger took home $200,000 \u2014 but for Orlando, the real prize was seeing one of our own reach the top.<\/p>\n

While Ginger was born in Leesburg, Florida \u2014 about an hour north of Orlando \u2014 her drag career was shaped by this city. Her drag mother is retired Orlando performer Rusty Fawcett<\/strong>, and she spent years honing her craft in Orlando’s clubs and performance spaces. Central Florida’s LGBTQ+ community watched her grow from a talented local queen into an international drag superstar, and she’s never forgotten where she came from.<\/p>\n

Ginger has performed at venues across Orlando, including here at Anthem, and she continues to maintain deep ties to the local community. After her All Stars win, she celebrated with fans at local Orlando venues, bringing the crown home where it belongs.<\/p>\n
